Hinya ("HEEN-yah") — means "Strength" in Kikuyu, a local dialect from the foots of Mt. Kenya. This light roast showcases the vibrant fruity (grapefruit and cantaloupe) and (milk) chocolate flavors characteristic of Kenyan coffee. The lighter roast enhances the coffee's natural sweetness and allows the unique terroir to shine through.
Whole bean coffee retains its freshness longer than pre-ground coffee. The outer shell of the bean acts as a protective barrier against oxidation and flavor loss. Grinding the beans just before brewing ensures maximum freshness and flavor.
